Suggested use:

Tea Leaf Amount

• Recommended ratio: 1:50 to 1:60 (tea leaves: water)

• Example: 10g tea leaves for 500–600ml water

Water Temperature

• Use 95–100°C hot water

• Kenyan Black Tea is heat-tolerant, allowing full extraction of aroma and flavor.

Steeping Time

• 6–8 minutes (adjust based on desired strength)

• For batch brewing, aim for around 7 minutes to avoid bitterness

• For a stronger tea base, increase the tea leaf amount and slightly reduce steeping time.

Suitable Drink Types

• Plain Black Tea: Rich, brisk flavor

• Milk Tea / Black Tea Latte: Rich flavor remains even with milk or cream

• Chai / Spiced Tea: Bold enough to complement spices

• Iced Tea: Retains its flavor profile when chilled, no dullness

Other Tips

• Try small-scale brewing to adjust the concentration before setting batch ratios

• When using tea bags, avoid overfilling (keep tea leaves less than 2/3 of the bag for better extraction)
